Upload a Screenshot
Upload a match screenshot or tactical image. The AI will automatically detect players and the ball using YOLOv8 models running directly in your browser. For best results:
- Use clear, high-resolution images
- Ensure players are visible and not heavily occluded

Select Field Keypoints
Map the detected players to the tactical board by selecting reference points on the field. Click "Select Keypoints" then choose keypoint types (corners, center spot, penalty areas, etc.) and click on the image to place them.
- Keypoint mapping is from the broadcast camera's perspective - e.g. top left means towards top left of your screen
- Select at least 3 keypoints on both vertical and horizontal axes
- More keypoints generally increase accuracy
- If the mapping looks wrong, try selecting different keypoints
- The AI may make mistakes - manual adjustment is somtimes needed

Apply & Review
Click "Apply" to map players onto the tactical board. Review the results:
- Drag players manually if they're not in the right position
- Use the color pickers to adjust team colors if needed
- Click players and use Home/Away buttons to reassign teams
- Add or delete players using the sidebar controls

Export to Editor
When satisfied, click "Open in Tactics Editor" to transfer the board to the full editor. There you can add arrows, text annotations, shapes, or even create animations.
💡 Pro Tip
The AI detection works entirely in your browser - no images are uploaded to any server. The first time you use this tool, the AI models (about 36MB total) will be downloaded and cached locally for faster future use.
